How To Upload Picasa Photos To Google Photos

My objective is to upload any binder containing image files from my computer to Google Photograph and non lose the order of the photos. Google Photograph does let sorting the photos by oldest first, newest first, or recently added. However information technology does not permit sorting past file proper noun, which would accomplish my objective of keeping photos in the proper order.

With over a 100 folders with files sorted it would be a major job to resort in Google Photos. If but they provided the selection of sorting past file name, I would be all fix. Any ideas?

Endeavor using the 'Albums' feature to organize your photos into different groupings. That manner your photo library still can exist retained as is and then you just use different albums to display whichever photos you choose in each album:

Thank you for your response.

I have taken photos stored in files in my calculator which are sorted and named in sequent social club by file name and uploaded them to a google photo album. All the same, they become into the album in a random order and the society of the photos in my computer is destroyed. I could rearrange them in google photo only if you have 100+ photos this i very laborious chore, If Google Photo immune sorting by file proper noun this would solve my problem but they don't'

Previously I accomplished this process by loading sorted folders into Picasa and they had a dark-green push button that allowed uploading them to Google+ or Google Photo that preserved the order of the photos. Picasa no longer supports this feature.

Google is doing a very poor task of migrating from Picasa to Google Photograph. They are continuing to improve Google Photograph but they remove functionality present in Picasa before they incorporate information technology into Google Photo.

Take you ever tried using Google Bulldoze as the "intermediary"? It keeps sort order past file name, though I don't know how that carries over, if at all, when the photos are presented in Google Photos.

Thank you, I've tried transferring a folder with sorted files to Google Drive and so uploading to Google Photograph, but still the same problem of scrambled files.

I just wish they had not changed Picasa which had the light-green push that allowed uploading a Picasa album to Google Photograph that retained the sorted lodge.

Google said they were not going to support Picasa, and that is fine, but why they had to remove a feature that was in Picasa I don't understand.

I guess information technology is time to give up solving my problem, even though I would like to use Google Photo to share albums, since it retains the captions I've put on photos.
