It has not been 24 hours since the let go of Meizu's flagship smartphone MX5 was announced and we already have the latest AnTuTu benchmarking results of the handset coming in. Thanks to the processing capabilities of eight Cortex-A53 cores stage in Helio X10 (clocked in at 2.2 GHz), the smartphone is able to receive a rattling impressive result of 53,330 points. Meizu MX5 Scores 50,000+ Points In AnTuTu; Incapable To Surpass Exynos 7420 And Snapdragon 810
According to Mechanical man Headlines, an image was taken showing that the smartphone was able to score 53,330 points in the benchmarking application. Despite the impressive score, Meizu MX5 was unable to surpass the results obtained by both Samsung Galaxy S6 and Xiaomi Mi Note Favoring; the latter features an updated version of Snapdragon 810. According to data compiled past International Business Multiplication, given below are the scores obtained past Galaxy S6 and Mi Notation Pro:
- Samsung Galaxy S6: 67,520 points
- Xiaomi Naut mi Note Pro: 63,424 points
While it was expected that Helio X10 present inside MX5 was unable to score high than Exynos 7420 and Snapdragon 810, what really matters at this point is the price/performance ratio that MX5 possesses. Even though the flagship smartphone is void of a MicroSD card slot, the device is still available to purchase in the following inward memory models (prices have also been added):
- 16 GB: 1800 yuan (almost $290)
- 32 GB: 1999 Mongol dynast (about $322)
- 64 GB: About $387
With the same prices, consumers will almost likely be enticed to purchase the fresh announced handset. There are another aspects where Meizu MX5 will be worth the consumer's money. Starting slay, there is 3 GB of RAM present, on with a ace 20.7 MP Sony IMX220 camera sensor. This particular sensing element; apart from snapping high resolution images, will also be capable to memorialize 4K videos.
These 4K videos can be encoded in the modern h.265 format, which takes up less space, but preserves the selfsame video quality, seeing as how MX5 is void of a storage expansion slot. The handset also features a 3,150 mAh battery, which is larger as compared to Mi Note Pro's 3,000 mAh cell and Galaxy S6's 2,550 mAh stamp battery.
Looking the least bit of these features and the slayer damage tag, we would be inclined to go for Meizu MX5, and regular though we would be shaving off a monumental identification number of points from the benchmarking practical application, our money would be well valuable. What did you guys think? Fare you palpate that MX5 is worthy its $290 starting price? Let us know your thoughts.
